Grand Melia, Arusha

Katambuga House
The Lodge is situated in a tranquil setting surrounded by coffee estates, with the beautiful Mount Meru in the background. Katambuga House is an elegant and stylish six-room lodge set in expansive grounds on the Endurance Estate near Arusha. With attention to detail, caring staff, and excellent dining, Katambuga house is a destination in its own right. Colorful tropical gardens surround the Lodge. Its peaceful location will restore your sense of inner calm. You can see countless indigenous birds stroll through the fields, with the magnificent Mount Meru dominating the skyline to the north, and at night wonder at the multitudes of stars above. Ngare Sero Mountain Lodge, Arusha
Set in lush gardens amid forest and crystal clear waters on Mount Meru's slopes, Ngare Sero Mountain Lodge is a beautiful place to relax and simmer in the immense beauty of East Africa. From an early colonial farmhouse built in the early 20th century and it is one of the oldest family lodges in Arusha. It offers 10 Garden Rooms, 2 Main House Suites and a Farm Cottage with three bedrooms. Ngare Sero has been providing personal service for its residents since 1974. You can spend the days amid nature, watching the changing colors of the Kilimanjaro glaciers while sipping drinks on the verandah or hiking in the forest inhabited by colobus and Sykes monkeys, well as hundreds of small animals and bird species. Only 30 minutes (20 km) away from Kilimanjaro International Airport and Arusha town center and it is a perfect base while on safari in northern Tanzania.
Onsea House
Located about 10 minutes outside of Arusha, Onsea House offers gorgeous vistas in an intimate setting. Guests can opt to stay in one of five rooms at the house or stay in the country inn, which has two double suites and a family suite overlooking the Meru valley. There is also a self-contained guest cottage where each room has its balcony. It can accommodate up to six people. In addition to the fine dining options and tranquil vibes, guests can also enjoy the spa and wellness facilities of neighboring Machweo, which shares the same owners as Onsea House.
